Union Productions (UP) is a student-run organization that frequently co-sponsors events with FSU student organizations, agencies, and academic departments. We’re happy to partner with your organization and provide assistance with event planning, staffing, production, and more.
Our co-sponsorship coordinator approves co-sponsored events. If you have an event idea you’d like to discuss, please fill out the Union Productions Co-Sponsorship Event Request Form on Nole Central (found under “Forms”). You must be signed in to Nole Central to access it.
UP reserves the right to decline co-sponsorship requests. We strive to present entertaining and unique events for all students, and potential co-sponsored events are evaluated in the same way as any other event we host. To be approved, a Registered Student Organization (RSO) or Student Government Association (SGA) agency must follow these guidelines:
- An RSO representative must meet with the UP co-sponsorship coordinator within two weeks of submitting the request to review event details.
- The UP co-sponsorship coordinator will present the request to the UP programming director for approval. After discussion, the event will be either approved or denied.
- The RSO must follow all guidelines set by the co-sponsorship coordinator, as well as any guidelines from the venue manager on the night of the event.
Your event is more likely to be approved if:
- It is unique and adds variety to the Union Productions calendar.
- Your organization already has a location reserved.
- It is free to FSU students (required), and the general public (preferred).
